{"ai_json_enabled":true,"answer":"Whether you need backup-only or full-time internet depends on how critical the connection is. If outages would stop cameras, alarms, EFTPOS or other essential services, you\u2019ll want a router designed for permanent operation with automatic failover and remote management. If the fixed service is usually reliable and outages are brief, a backup-only setup that automatically takes over can be enough. A practical way to decide is to map your uptime needs and list the devices and interfaces that must stay online. Share your site location, approximate number of users, whether you need remote access or VPN, and whether you want an external antenna. With that information, Comset can narrow to a simple, well-matched model rather than an over-specified unit.","answer_source":"approved_parent_and_related_qas","category":"Choosing an Industrial Router","category_slug":"choosing-an-industrial-router","created_at":"2026-10-14T19:14:07+00:00","daily_publish_cap":2,"date_published":"2026-10-14","display_date":"2026-10-14","drip_batch":"daily_conversation_breadcrumb","drip_status":"published_topup","id":"conv-daily-20261014-405d8772","image_ids":["comset-category-hero-001-choosing-an-industrial-router","comset-product-range-routers","comset-product-cm685vx"],"image_url":"","last_updated":"2026-10-14T19:15:24+00:00","local_cache_status":"pending_airtable_sync","publish_status":"published","published":true,"published_at":"2026-10-14T19:14:07+00:00","question":"How do I decide between backup-only and full-time internet for our site?","question_intent":"conversational_followup","rss_enabled":true,"rss_pub_date":"Wed, 14 Oct 2026 19:14:07 GMT","scheduled_for":"2026-10-14T19:14:07+00:00","schema_enabled":true,"site_key":"comset-online","slug":"how-do-i-decide-between-backup-only-and-full-time-internet-for-our-site","source":"daily_qa_drip_conversational_followup","source_queue_id":"","source_record_ids":[],"source_type":"daily_qa_drip_conversational_followup","source_urls":[],"status":"active","tags":["conversation follow-up","daily drip"],"updated_at":"2026-10-14T19:15:24+00:00"}
